I'm still sad that I couldn't afford the Rachel Comey Carmody leather desert boots but I sort of found pity replacement.

Every single time I head to an Aldo store I find their men's shoes to be either too squared or too point-y. 

not kidding. not exaggerating. you know what I'm talking about.

Although recently a couple of pairs are grabbing my attention.

everybody i know knows how much i like scarves. I have quite a lot and I always say that I still don't have much. blah blah blah...

This one has a funny story to it. 

We had a friend who was heading back to Japan and she needed to get rid of some of her stuff.

 "You can have this..."

tossed it in between a friend and I and while it was still floating mid-air we fought over it. (sort of like a fight scene in a movie in slow-mo)

I know, I know... embarassing.

but it was worth it!

oh! and as for the seahorse pin. I purchased it from the flea market.

I needed something to hold the scarf in place.

the weather network never gets it right anyway!

You check the weather network and it tells you it's going to rain.

 You then head outside and see the sun shining bright with not a single drop of rain.

...and then we're always told to dress accordingly and appropriately.

The weather was a little gloomy.

It's getting cold so I started pulling the scarves out. 

The fleece pullover was warm enough. 

And it was a raining a little so I opted for the rubber loafers.

purple silk scarf. Gant pullover sweater. Gap long-sleeve shirt. FCUK belt. Giordano gray pants. Swims rubber loafers.

My sister, K (of Such Fun Things) and Florence has been telling us about this place but we never had the chance to check it out until recently.

Sperry Striper Slip-On

I found a replacement for my older (stinky) sneakers that I've been using for work.

a #Sperry Top-Sider Striper slip-on in salt washed navy.

I've had for about a week now and I find them, compared to the ones being replaced, a little heavy especially when you constantly go up and down the stairs for hours lifting with boxes and boxes of shoes, boots and sandals.

The materials they're made of feels sturdy that they might last a while and the bottom, which is rubber, has a really good traction.
